Borehole

Surface Mounted Deep Well Pumps

For depths to 50m

The Davey range of quality Australian-made deep well pumps and pressure systems is ideal for handling suction lifts beyond 7.5m.

The 95D, 125D 165D and Prime Jet 240 are able to retrieve water from depths to 50m and can produce flows up to 194lpm from shallower depths.

The 95D, 125D 165D models feature a unique pump casing cast in marine grade aluminium, lined with a strong engineering plastic to ensure extremely high corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand the harsh operating conditions often encountered in pumping water from bores, wells etc. The powerful Prime Jet 240 is made of cast iron to cater for the higher operating pressures.

Davey deep well pumps are fitted with the Davey automatic demand response (ADR) valve to ensure peak performance at all times and help protect against loss of prime.

Orange Pumps Deep Well

The all moulded injector has more applications and gives increased performance

How it works

Water from the centrifugal pump is piped to the injector jet down the bore. The jet creates a vacuum causing water to be sucked from the bore and drawn into the venturi where the water velocity is converted to pressure. This pressure lifts water to within the suction capability of the centrifugal pump which then delivers water to overhead tanks, the garden or supply the house or farm.

Pump construction

The Orange convertible jet pump uses all engineering mouldings down the bore. The pump is cast iron, the impeller and most internal parts are moulded, the seal is stainless steel with carbon ceramic working faces. This makes the pump capable of operating in most corrosive conditions.
